The disABILITY Resource Center is a Center for Independent Living. We are a community-based, non-residential program of services aimed at assisting people with disabilities attain independent lives. In order to facilitate independence, we strive to eliminate both the physical and attitudinal barriers in our community. Our clients are supported in the creation of their own plans for independence, based on their personal priorities, goals and needs. Our core services include information and referral regarding resources in our community, independent living skills and advocacy training, peer support activities and legal services. We offer assistance to individuals seeking employment, and we also have personal care assistance and ramps and rails programs. Learn more at www.drctn.org.
