Amachi Knoxville, an initiative of Knoxville Leadership Foundation, provides mentoring services to a very special group of Knoxville’s children – those with one or both parents currently incarcerated in state or federal prison. Amachi mentors help boys and girls (ages 4-17) achieve their highest potential by engaging them in consistent and committed mentoring relationships. The need is great- there are over 30 boys and girls on wait lists for mentors.
